**Your Hotel**

 The Cedar Court Hotel Harrogate is a Grade II listed building and was Harrogate’s first hotel. It enjoys a peaceful location in landscaped grounds close to the town centre and provides spacious and well-equipped accommodation. Public areas include open plan lounge and bar. The hotel has a lift.

• DAY ONE - Morning departure from your home area travelling to North Yorkshire and arriving late afternoon, tea/coffee or Sherry and mince pies on arrival.

After dinner, enjoy some hotel entertainment.

• DAY TWO - Christmas Eve   Our day begins with an ‘Emmerdale’ drive through the beautiful countryside featured on the opening credits of the programme. We make our way to the tiny village of Esholt – the location for ‘Beckindale’ and then

 ‘Emmerdale’ in the TV series for many years.

Then we head for the former spa town of Ilkley, sheltered by Ilkley Moor and the Cow and Calf Rocks.  We return to the hotel in time for Afternoon Tea with finger sandwiches, a selection of cakes and scones with jam and cream. Relax at the hotel and get ready for a festive quiz for the rest of the afternoon. Tonight, we enjoy a Christmas Banquet Dinner followed by Christmas carols with mulled wine, tea or coffee and mince pies

• DAY THREE    Christmas Day    Today brings us to Christmas Day! Swap presents before enjoying a traditional four-course Christmas Lunch with hats and crackers. Afterwards, you can listen to the King’s speech where tea/coffee and Christmas cake will be served for you to enjoy. In the evening, you can indulge in a Christmas hot fork buffet with desserts. Afterwards, there is time to have fun with our evening entertainment of bingo.

• DAY FOUR   Boxing Day’  Today is a free day to explore Harrogate at your own pace and enjoy the sights and sounds of the historic spa town. Tonight’s dinner is followed by evening entertainment of a festive quiz and time to relax.

• DAY FIVE  After breakfast, we leave and head for home.
