• DAY THREE
After breakfast, we journey along the coast to the maritime city of Plymouth where we
head to The Box - Plymouth’s award-winning museum and gallery. Discover more
about the history of Plymouth as you explore the collections and galleries, including
the beautifully restored St Luke’s Church with its rotating exhibitions. Watch out for
the life-size woolly mammoth! Later we board a one-hour Scenic Harbour Cruise with
Plymouth Boats. Set sail across the Plymouth Sound, passing Plymouth Hoe, Mount
Edgcumbe and Royal William Yard, heading for the river Tamar. Watch out for mighty
warships and nuclear submarines in one of Europe’s largest Naval Dockyards, only
visible from the water. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Devon and Cornwall
coastline with a cream tea and an informative commentary from the captain along the
way. It’s the perfect introduction to the city.
• DAY FOUR
Today’s outing takes us first to Newquay. Before later continuing along the coast
to the fishing village of Padstow, a charming Cornish fishing village, with colourful
fishing boats, cobbled streets and variety of shops. Padstow is also a popular foodie
destination as the home to the fish restaurant of celebrity chef Rick Stein.

• DAY FIVE
Today We Visit Bodmin And Launceston.
One of Cornwall’s oldest towns, Bodmin’s central position makes it a great base to explore Cornwall. A walk around Bodmin reveals a bustling place full of imposing granite buildings reflecting the town’s importance during the mining boom in the 19th century and its position as the former administrative centre of Cornwall. The Shire Hall, which was the old county courtroom, sending villains down to the imposing county jail whilst the 15th Century church of St Petroc, is the largest parish church in Cornwall.
Once the ancient capital of Cornwall and with a millennium of history to enjoy, Launceston has much to offer. Walking from the Norman castle, passing the tower built by the Black Prince, then through the narrow medieval streets, you arrive at Southgate Arch, the last remaining gate to the only walled town in Cornwall.
• DAY SIX
Today we visit the bustling city of Truro with its flowing rivers, picturesque streets with 18th and 19th century townhouses, and a magnificent cathedral that dominates the city. Today is also the city's farmers market where local producers from across the region gather. The day is free to spend at leisure browsing the markets and sightseeing in the city. We continue, late afternoon, with a visit to Mevagissey with its fishing harbour highly popular with artists.
• DAY SEVEN
A free day to explore Looe harbourside and town centre. Maybe take a stroll and enjoy the delightful sea view from the coastal path or just relax in the hotel and watch the world go by.
• DAY EIGHT
After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
