This morning we travel to the nearby Maritime city of Dundee, with a free morning to explore. We visit Discovery Point and board Captain Scott’s ship RRS Discovery where you will follow in the footsteps of him and his crew, see how they lived, what they ate, witness their hardships and triumphs on their heroic exploration of Antarctica. We then return to the hotel for light lunch and have the afternoon free to explore Perth.
• DAY THREE
This morning is free to explore Perth at leisure before enjoying light lunch at the hotel. This afternoon we head north to the popular town of Pitlochry where we head for the famous Blair Athol Distillery for a guided tour and tasting. As we learn how their famous single malt is made.
• DAY FOUR
This Morning we travel south to visit the Kelpies - the largest equine sculptures in the world; standing at 100ft tall. Falkirk wheel*(depending on maintenance programme) or Stirling

DAY ONE
Depart from your home area in the morning for Foxfields Country Hotel. Visits to St. Mildred’s church and Osborne house.
DAY TWO
Our first visit today is to the historic market town of Poulton-le-Fylde, a charming place full of cobbled streets, unusual shops and ancient sights. In springtime the church yard becomes a riot of colours thanks to carpets of purple, yellow and white crocuses.We then continue our journey to Lytham St Annes and towards Preston to Samlesbury. Here we enjoy an afternoon visit to Samlesbury Hall, steeped in fascinating history,retaining its original black and white exterior. We make our way back to the hotel late afternoon.
DAY THREE
This morning we have a drive through pictures Lancashire via Gisburn and Hellifield to Lancaster and Morecambe. On the seafront is the stunning Midland Hotel. After being empty for many years this hotel has now been beautifully restored to its former glory. We include today ‘The Midland Afternoon Tea’, a mouth-watering selection of sandwiches, scones and much, much more. Later we have a little free time before we head back to the hotel.
DAY FOUR This morning we head to the famous ‘Ossie Mills’ complex where we stop for lunch and time to shop till you drop! This afternoon we have a short drive to Riley Green Marina. Here we join the boat for a relaxing and peaceful cruise along the canal, with afternoon tea served on the way.
DAY FIVE
After breakfast depart for home. A LOVELY TOUR!
