This tour will take you back in time to celebrate, reflect and respect our fallen heroes at the start of the poppy celebration weekend.

29th October 2021, 4-day DBB, tour staying at The Olde Barn, Marston. £295 pp (+£45 srs pp)   

Our charming rustic hotel is set in the beautiful countryside of Grantham in the heart of England. The Olde Barn is Comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated rooms, atmospheric restaurant, contemporary bar, comfortable lounge and Health Club make us an idyllic retreat.

Day 1

Once everyone is onboard we will head to the International Bomber Command Centre. This is a world class facility and serves as a point of recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for bomber command. We then head to our  hotel     The Olde Barn     for a three night relaxing stay.

Day 2

After breakfast we will have a drive through Cranwell village for a photo stop at Cranwell College. We then head to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, home of ‘Just Jane’ the Avro Lancaster Bomber for the start of this weekends poppy celebrations.

We then head off to Woodhall Spa to visit the Dambuster memorial. Finally finishing the day off at the Dambusters Inn, a little pub in Scampton village holding WW11 memorabilia of the Dambuster squadron. 

Day 3

Enjoy a full day at Duxford Imperial War Museum. Here you can find a wide collection of personal stories of those who have lived, fought and died in conflict. You can also view a large and vast range of hangers, gigantic aircraft and a live airfield. For those of you feeling more adventurous it is possible to book a flight in a range of aircrafts, including a Tigermoth or a Spitfire.**( contact the museum directly if interested in a flight)

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast we make our way home. On route we will be stopping off at a place of interest before returning to your designated drop of points.
